There are many things I can say about my website/blog Notorious News that I have owned, operated and been the head writer for since October 2006. I guess the first thing I want to say is that I am extremely dedicated to the work that I do on that blog. I update it five days a week (Mon.-Fri.) and can post anywhere from three to seven blog posts per day. Each blog post is approximately two to three parahgraphs long and I try to keep the blog posts as humorous as possible.
Of course not all celebrity news is 100% humorous. Some can be very serious. Some sad, some happy and some downright snarky. The list of celebrities that I write about are too long to mention but I do have a special love for d-listers. These are celebrities that have no ascertainable talent but are a figure in the tabloid world anyway. It can be because they are attractive or because they do interesting things in their private life but I think that the study of all things tabloid interest me a great deal.
No one really knows why the paparazzi target the people they target. It is an absolute mystery but I find it very entertaining. Of course, I have to give credit to the thousands of celebrities who actually do have talent. I enjoy writing about them very much too. Rather it be an actor, actress, musician, writer, director or producer. They all strike my fancy.
Some people say the best entertainment/gossip blogs come from Hollywood but the longer I write and the more I see gossip blogs come and go, I tend to find that to be not true. I write from an apartment in Crystal City, Missouri and as fancy as that city sounds, it is truly middle class.
One of the best things that I have come across in the celebrity blogging world is the friends that you can make. Rather it be on social networking sites or through e-mail itself, there are a lot of good people out there who are writing about celebrities and they are just like me. They want to be seen. Or read.
